Münevver TUNA GENC received her B.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences from the Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2017. She obtained her M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Selcuk University in 2020, where she worked as a scholar in a TUBITAK 1001 project during her graduate studies. Her master’s thesis focused on photocatalytic hydrogen production using plant-based carbon dot nanomaterials. She completed her Ph.D. in Biotechnology at Selcuk University in 2025. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher in a TUBITAK 2232-B International Fellowship for Early Stage Researchers project. Her research interests include photocatalysis, photoelectrochemistry, and hydrogen evolution. She has published articles in international journals and presented her work at scientific conferences.
